FAIRBANK- ​The City of Fairbank is located in both Buchanan and Fayette Counties.   It is home to a beautiful ISLAND PARK with  gorgeous lighting, benches, playground, shelter, and footbridge.  This is the perfect spot for fishing and kayaking, letting the kids burn off some energy, or just going for a leisurely stroll in a beautiful setting. Just across the street is the Veteran Memorial and Gazebo with walking trail.  Downtown shopping includes  Brainard Hollow, Timeless Traditions, AJ Boutique, Saved for More, and  Floral Images & Gifts.   Places to eat include   Costa's Sports Bar & Grill, Fairbank Food Center, and Casey's.  The annual Fairbank Island Days celebration is held the 3rd weekend of June and features great concerts, food, drinks, and parade!
